    The gadget adheres to the glass surface which pretty much disqualifies any kind of magnetic force.

    It looks like one of those tools glass guys snap on large plates of glass to carry them. Probably pressurized or something (hence the gauge).

    Big question: did he die because the lukemia prevented his wounds from healing. The wounds he got after doing something like this.
