Mission Update: Objectives completed.

I received a 9. I heard from a little birdie that I would have gotten a 10 if only no one had actually read my thesis thoroughly (it was inconsistent in parts and I knew it, but there wasn’t really time to fix it in the 2 weeks I had to put it together).

Everyone was either lyrical about the presentation or at least enjoyed it. I’ll say it one more time, Garr Reynolds knows what he’s talking about! While I’m handing out props, Cristiano’s presentation zen-like presenting skills are the origin of the cube transition for switching contexts. I just shamelessly ripped it off.

Audience Pong went more than great. Only Oliver apparently wasn’t fooled, in that a single person probably can beat the room, and my point was the opposite of this. It’s just too much fun to let mere facts get in the way of having a good time.

My parents were very impressed which is a good thing; after all, they were probably beginning to wonder what the hell I’ve been doing these last 8 years. They’ve paid my rent and university tuition so far, so they deserved it.

A big THANK YOU! to everyone who attended and made it a day I won’t forget for a very long time.
